I designed this poster going for more of a SWAT feel than last years poster design. The photo I had to work with was cluttered with noise from low-light shooting, so it took a lot of retouching to make it look decent. I can definitely see this as a movie cover on the shelf at Blockbuster.
Unfortunately… this poster design fell victim to the chopping block, and got veto’d for print.
Keep an eye out for the comedic spin off the Strength Means Durability ad I designed for Advanced Armament. rnThis ad was a lot of fun to make, and is on newstands now.

With a MASSIVE effort behind it… The 2009 Advanced Armament Corp. catalog is finally complete. This project was an immense undertaking, and I am very glad to see it finished. I have been wrenching on the design, layout, and revisions for months. I just got back a one-off deck I had made of the Drift Invasion T-shirt design I designed for the guys over at Unnatural Inc. It came out a bit dark, but overall pretty rad!
I have been working on a lot of new decks as of late… mostly one-offs for my collection. As a jaded designer… pressing up decks is a refreshing change of a print medium. The same excitement I used to get when a box of 5000 12pt 4/4 UV coated flyers would come in is now the same excitement I get when a box filled with skateable pieces of 7-ply Canadian maple arrives at my door.I had a few other decks pressed, but I can’t post them up just yet… so stay tuned!

The guys over at Unnatural Inc. hit me up to rock a t-shirt design for their Drift Invasion series. I wanted to run with a similar style to the flyer I designed for them… but I also wanted to make a print that guys and girls could both wear. I can’t wait to see the printed product!
