I came across some of the Cartoon Network “Action Flicks” bumpers that I did stunt driving for. rnThese clips are short and sweet, but very cool!
AAC 2009 SHOT Show Video. from Advanced Armament Corp. on Vimeo.
The video loop I created for the Advanced Armament Corp. SHOT Show booth. Features footage from various competitions, training classes, and the AAC Silencer Shoot. This video also features a visual breakdown of the 2009 product line.A lot of effort went into this project… especially the motion graphics segment at the end of the video. Every element was individually animated (sparked text, script text, silencers, flash hiders, individual specifications, etc.), and composited to the music.Soundtrack: “Beware the Circling Fin” by Early Man.
A quick snap of some of the motion graphics I am putting together for this years SHOT Show video for Advanced Armament CorpI’m pressed for time… but this is turning out NICE.

With a MASSIVE effort behind it… The 2009 Advanced Armament Corp. catalog is finally complete. This project was an immense undertaking, and I am very glad to see it finished. I have been wrenching on the design, layout, and revisions for months. I’m VERY pleased with the result, and extremely proud of the final product.[kml_flashembed fversion=”8.0.0″ movie=”http://www.andysapp.com/clients/advanced_armament/09_catalog/catalogue.swf” targetclass=”flashmovie” base=”http://www.andysapp.com/clients/advanced_armament/09_catalog/09_catalog” publishmethod=”static” width=”695″ height=”296″/]rn(Click and pull the pages)If you would like to see the catalog in more detail, click here to download a PDF version.

After a run of 4 years… it is time to retire my Sidekick II. I picked it up in 2005, and only had to replace the screen once, where I accidentally shattered the LCD against the tailgate of my truck. This phone had a great run… but the iPhone has called me on to greener pastures.
A sneak-peek at the 4-page spread I designed for S3 Magazine covering DMGGMASD. Keep an eye out on newstands in January.
The world is not ready.

My point-and-shoot won’t capture the SPARKLE.
Stickers make the world a better place.
Some multi-car action amidst the rain from Southeast Drift’s “Say Cheese” event at Turner Field. Torrential downpour made for an interesting day. I love drifting in the rain. Tony Schulz and David Jones are on chase attack… making good formation, considering the conditions.

A new full-page ad I designed for AAC. Keep an eye out for this across newstands everywhere.
And then there is KEN BLOCK. Drifting AWD is not easy. Ken makes this look effortless.
I’m still not saying anything about this secret event. Very special thanks to Will Roegge for the amazing ‘snaps, chops, and colors’. rnI can’t wait to see the full edit. I don’t think the world is ready.
