Wasn’t I just talking about this ad? The new issue of S3 Magazine just hit news stands.
Keep an eye out for the Slide Style™ full-pager in 24 deep from the cover.
I just came across this hoodie by the Hundreds. Apparently I wasn’t the only one who thought it was a good idea to reference a company as “the old black”. Here I thought I was being clever.

I suppose I was being clever… it just so happens that the camp at the Hundreds is also clever. SO… cheers to the collective unconscious, and better ideas to come.

The long-awaited follow-up to the first installment. This video continues the horror-inspired, theatrical slow-motion – while trying to keep the “sequel” status from collapsing into common franchise stereotypes that the horror genre is known for.Principal photography for this project was plagued with technical difficulties from the start. Cameras falling off cars, HDD cameras shutting themselves off before every run, lens issues, focusing problems… it was all there. While this video didn’t quite live up to my personal expectation and original creative vision… it did turn out well.
The sequel is finally complete. No one is safe

New full-page ad I designed for Slide Style™. A new lineup of Slide Style™ goods is in the works… so stay tuned.
I had a limited run pressed up of some new Slide Style™ stickers. Keep an eye out… more limited-edition stickers are on the way.Slide Impending Fatal.

This video is a super-short and sweet attempt at making a drift video unlike any other I have made before. All the on-car footage is shot from cameras mounted on other drift cars during multi-car tandem. I wanted it to feel very theatrical… and the soundtrack by John Carpenter helps tremendously. The DriftMechaniks were on a murder spree this weekend… so it seemed all-but fitting.
Four new Slide Style™ decks arrived on Monday. I had two new designs pressed, along with two decks from the ’07 lineup.
I snapped a few pics straight out the box… still wrapped in shrink.
Motorcult Modern & Wireframed.rnThese decks both started out as typography/style explorations.

Firebird & SlantBig ups to Dosa Kim for the Firebird illustration. That thing is sick no matter where it lands.

I took the e46 up to Foerst Motorwerks today so we could get her prepped for the Southeastdrift event in Greenville next weekend.

Delicious Steve stopped by sporting his custom Slide Style™ Hot Wheels. He just picked up some aero for his ride… I can’t wait to see it kitted out!

What started out as a random experiment in typography ended up landing itself as a new deck for Slide Style™.
I can’t wait to see these printed on wood.

After the deck was designed, I implemented the style into an ad appearing in Wrecked Magazine.

After an eternity of waiting… the new batch of Slide Style™ tee-shirts came in. Some of the all-over prints turned out amazing…
especially on the girl tees – pictured here:

I launched the new Slide Style™ website today. Since I have been stuck in bed unable to do anything with my shattered collarbone, it gave me a chance to get everything up online. It’s awesome to see a complete catalog of the things we’ve made over the years.
